My Dream Laneige

Needless to say, Koreans are widely famous for their smooth, fair and spotless facial skin. And it is every woman's dream to inherit those sexy genes (dayummm~). You will find yourself searching through pictures of Korean superstars and admire their makeup and tried the K-look yourself. And sometimes, you wonder what kind of facial products do they use to keep their skin silky smooth and SPOTLESS??? Okay, I agree that plastic surgery can do wonders but... you're gonna look like a hag if you don't maintain that face you just spent thousands on.

The one brand that I am ITCHING about is Laneige. Every trip to the Parkson stores, I would visit Laneige booth to test out their new products. So far, I am dying to use their Snow BB Essence Balm and Water Sleeping Pack_EX !!!!

Love Snow BB Essence Balm because of its triple function, convenient for travel and the glow it gives. This cosmetic wonder does not only cover your blemishes and imperfections, it's dual benefits is inclusive of whitening ingredients for fairer complexion and provides UV protection, basically acting as a sunscreen. The Sun can be quite unforgiving at times, so the longer you are exposed to the sun ray, your skin will wrinkle! But Snow BB Essence Balm lessens the formation of wrinkles! Best of all, it comes in a small compact shell with its essence trap in a sponge (innovative I'd say), just plop it into your bag and go everywhere with it. What I love most from this product is that after application, my skin shimmers and gives out a healthy glow~~ <3 p="">

As for the skin care product, one can never go to bed without fully hydrating the face! According to scientific research, the skin goes through restoration and is at the lowest activity during the night while you're asleep. So, it is always good to re-hydrate and restore your skin at that time for optimum effect. Hence, the Water Sleeping Pack_EX is my favourite Laneige skin care product. The texture of the gel is as gentle as water and you won't feel sticky after application. I can sleep without worrying whether my face have enough water to absorb or air to breathe HAHA.

Rapunzel's nightmare

I have hinted before that the part of me I take pride of the most as compared the other "organs" is my hair. At the moment, it's the hair. My reproductive organs can wait. And by the way, when I say 'hair', it's not the arm hair, leg hair, facial hair or whatsoever (just in case....).

Now, first and foremost, this is NOT a review. Funny how I am gonna include the product's name and all but it's just my vanity and I. Remember how I bragged in my previous posts about how my black hair was shiny and strong that it could smack the day lights out of someone? My hair is still strong, but not black anymore obviously haha. The color that I have my now preferred hairstylist, Hana (from Derricks & Team) dyed for me is copper red in which like any other red-based colors, it bleeds. After each wash, the red will fade and dulls no matter how good the dye product or the treatment is. So, I had to find an affordable solution to atleast protect the base color from fading too fast at the same time lock the shine in my hair.

Am a faithful Loreal brand goer, so I tried Loreal Paris Color-Vive Colored Highlighted Hair Protect Shampoo. And hence, the result.

Color is still even and less dull for sure. Oh, and it looks healthy no? I hope it lasts till my graduation day or not I have to burn my wallet again to redye *Heartache* So far... copper red is the best color I have ever chosen despite having to go through heartache after every hair wash.

Cameron Highlands Voyage

Hello,

Many would prefer to travel away from Malaysia for vacation because you see different culture, background, unique architect-ed cities etc. But as Malaysians, I think our own country has so much to offer too! Have you ever travelled to atleast more than 4 states? (Please exclude islands =w=)

As promised, I did my best to list down some of the key places you should visit in Cameron Highlands. Fair warning though, experience is very subjective. Rest assured, it is a very (i really mean very) peaceful and serene environment, suitable for a relaxing getaway. 

Driving up is the better option and it takes only about less than 2 hours using the safer Simpang Pulai road! At the base of the hill sits a Avant Chocolate Factory selling variety of chocolates and tea, before starting your journey up, you can take a rest in its cafe and enjoy some strawberry desserts!

Near Brinchang will be the Kea Farm, strawberry farm, Boh Plantation etc. One which you might want to visit is the Lavender farm~ Entrance fee is RM 5 for adults.

In Brinchang, you can't miss out their healthy steamboat menu, the ratio of fresh vegetables to meat is a 3 to 1!! (Cameron Organic Produce Steamboat in particular). My apologies pals, no picture for this because my stomach was fighting for attention.

This will forever be my #1 place to land in if I ever to come again to CH. Big Red Strawberry Farm has assortment of lettuce, strawberry and even cactus farm, at the top sits a mini cafe which sells strawberry dessert. The yogurt + honey + strawberry dessert is to die for!

Cannot. Resist. Everything is strawberry goodness!!

Up for beautiful scenery/buildings? Ye Olde Smokehouse is a unique structure with a flavor of German style that only can be found in either in Bukit Tinggi or here in Brinchang.

What is there to do at night? Visit the Brinchang Night Market at 6pm situated near the police station! (warning: leave early for this, you would't want to be stuck in the jam). The night market only opens on the Friday and Saturday night.

If you're already bored with Brinchang, you can always travel further to Tanah Rata for more! On the way down, take a relaxing break in the famous Golfer's course and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate!

 Basically, food in Tanah Rata is almost the same as the city. However, you can't find homemade creamy scones anywhere but in The Lord's cafe!!

Scones and Passion Fruit Boh Tea = Bliss

Rained every afternoon since we came.

You might also wanna go for pancakes in Yong Teng cafe, show some love to the most loving old couple in town! 

Next stop, Sarawak and probably China for family vacation in 2013 :)

First experience in advertisement blogging

In relation to the post earlier, I haven't involve myself heavily into blog advertisements yet mainly because I do not fully understand it's value. No harm trying though, because it looks fun and simple. That's what i thought, oh maaaannn, think again. There is so much to take into account! Completeness, creativity etc... halfway through the blog post I thought to myself : "gotta finish this university assi- wait what???". And most importantly, people (Blog readers/fans) needed to be assured that the quality of the products or services are up to the standard and these bloggers give them that.

Now, I salute bloggers who take the time to do this. Especially this lovely lady here, Jia Yeen. Do show her some love at her blog www.jiayeen.com. 

It's been a year since I blogged. Though, feels good to blog again...it distresses my mind.

Might blogged about my Cameron Highlands trip in a few days, will be recommending some good places to hunt food.
